Good News, Bad News.

After a year and a half of regular posting, I have finally caught up with the work I'm doing on projects currently in production or in development. Therefore, I will not be able to show anything until these projects are released and it might take a while. Fortunately, I stumbled recently, in my archives, on some forgotten pieces I did during my brief foray in live action movies. That should take me through the summer.
Cheers.

Poster.

One night Mike Kurinsky came up with this great logo based on Boog's character design. I had already suggested that all the signs in Timberline should be based on the great look of the old woodblock posters of Nashville's Hatch Show Print, so we decided to put together this poster.

Gettin' Lazy.

There comes a time in any production when it becomes really difficult for an Art Director to sit down long enough to finish a drawing. Fortunately, by then the crew needs no more than a doodle on a napkin to do their work.

Curse of the old mine.

For the second time, I had to work on designs for a mine , and for the second time the location got canned before it went into production. Next time, I shall decline the assignment and save everybody time and efforts.

Note that it might seem slow going at first but it is well worth seeing it through. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
