great sense of depth. It's cool that you are using those canvas pads, lots of folks look down on them but I think they are a great surface...especially for acrylic paint.
This actually is probably one of my favorites so far. Great simple shape language and nice framing FG and the opening behind the trees to silo the shack. Awesome man,
Thank you Mac, This was the result of a good warm up sketch (the 'Swamp' entry) and a plate of several studies for the hut (from which I selected the best silhouette), coming together nicely in this desaturated key. I'm with you there, this is one of my personal favorites on that show.
