Hope you don't mind looking back! Can you tell me what pencil leads and paper this amazing piece of work was created on? I am studying tones and pencil and I am all over the place. Can you help me narrow it down.
Hi Mike, My favorite support is Chromacolour Animation paper but I'm equally happy to work with Letraset or Canson Layout paper pads. They are very white, light weight and slightly translucid papers with a smooth surface that erases very well but with just enough tooth to show the full range of pencil tones including smudging. The pencils range from 2H to 6B from any manufacturer and lead mines from HB to 9B. I use kneaded erasers and eraser pencils as well as a little Sakura Electric eraser. Hope this helps. Cheers.
