I can't help wondering if you got a couple days location scoutings paid by the prod during all these years? love the first "butte." atmosphere, and thank you for reminding me of Maynard Dixon's works.

Hi Laurent,
Indeed, I personally was part of two such trips, one of them a crazy whirlwind tour of eight national parks in five days.
A lot of the landscape work you see here is based on photographs I took on these trips.
I am also planning to post some of the sketches I did on these occasions.
Keep posted.
Cheers.

Eigh parks in five days, madness. A real visual overdose...What a trip it must have been.
I really got to visit this part of the earth at some point, probably too much Blueberry in my early days, i guess... I'll visit on a different rythm, though. Great flatlands post, above, again.

Hey Laurent,
Yes it was mad but awesome nonetheless.
Cheers.

I remember you doing some Blueberry inspired works while we were on the film.

You're quite right and they're about to show up.
