Just ran across your blog- Very cool environments, great work. Especially like the pencil pieces- Any more of those in the archives? :)
Hi Mark,Yes, I have a lot of drawings in my portfolios and I'll be happy to post some of them in a little while. The next week, though, is going to be devoted to color works. Please check again later.Cheers.
Luc, thanks for stopping by my blog, and for the very kind words- Much appreciated. All the best!
Luc, this might seem to be a connection that is a little off the wall, but bear with me. :)Is it possible that the sculptor, Lee Bontecou is a descendant of Dr. R.B. Bontecou, who removed the leg of the handsome fellow reclining on a hospital cot here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/99129398@N00/253510183/in/photostream/That name is so uncommon, there has to be a link, No?I don't really expect you to know the answer, but I thought it was curious, nonetheless.
That should read:http://www.flickr.com/photos/99129398@N00/253510183/in/photostream/
Well Mike, I really have no idea, although I agree that the name seem unusual enough that a connexion might be suspected. What I find most curious is the suprising eclecticism of your references. By the way, this civil war recruit looks awfully young.Cheers.
